Puget Sound Doberman Pinscher Club

Established in 1969 • AKC licensed in 1972

We are an active Doberman Pinscher specialty club in Washington state. We are Doberman lovers and fanciers who want to protect and support the future of this wonderful breed of dogs. PSDPC is a non-profit local chapter club of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, a national breed club recognized by the American Kennel Club.

Our members enjoy working with their Dobermans in conformation, agility, rally, obedience, search and rescue, tracking, nosework, dock diving, police and military service, Schutzhund, coursing, barn hunt and therapy support. Take a look at just some of what we do with our amazing dogs!

First and foremost, our Dobermans are our beloved companions, loyal partners and family pets.

Club meetings

Club meetings are held at 7:00 PM (PST) on the second Monday of alternate months: January, March, May, July, September, November. Contact the Club Secretary for more information.

Have fun with Dobermans and earn PSDPC Health Day credit!

Our events need lots of volunteers! Join us to make them even better. Active club members earn Health Day stipends when you help to run PSDPC events – it's easy and we’ll show you how. Plus you'll spend the day having fun with dogs and your fellow club members! It's a win-win.

Can't be there in person? Have other skills? Contact any of our committee chairs and learn how you can contribute. Trophy Donations earn stipend credit as well!

Please see the Health Day page for stipend credit requirement details or contact us to learn more.

AKC Conformation

Conformation and Specialty Shows

Our Specialties are generally held every November in Monroe, WA, and include NOHS, sweepstakes, Obedience and Rally competitions.

We co-host the Northwest Doberman Extravaganza with the Mt. Hood Doberman Pinscher Club, held in Portland, OR in June.

Dog shows are fun and we welcome the public to attend our Specialites and learn more about Dobermans.

Check our Facebook page for other upcoming events.

Competition, fun days & public events

Agility Trials & Other Activities

The PSDPC Club holds two agility trials each year, typically in July and December. We often host a silent auction, a photo booth and other fun activities. Come join us! We welcome competitors of all breeds and encourage volunteers and spectators.

We also host many other events such as Meet the Breeds at the Washington State Fair, tracking seminars, scent work competition, Barn Hunt, dock diving, swimming, Powder Photo shoots, and group attendance at Bark at the Park with the Seattle Mariners. We offer the DPCA's Working Aptitude Evaluation every other year.

For club members, we host an annual Health Day which includes an echocardiogram and laboratory work. We also offer our club members rental use of our Holter monitor equipment.

Check our Facebook page for other upcoming events.
