There were
a couple of new ROMs from this evaluation and according to
the handlers, several more will be going for their performance
titles shortly.
From
Eve Auch: "I
got in late last night from the Puget Sound DPC WAE. I've got
to
tell you that these people are terrific. It was organized, great
workers and a site to die for. It was held at the home of Tammy
Markey
after (Editor:
Specialty) judging on Saturday.
The grounds were unbelievably good and the
decoy was the best. And a special thanks to Kathy Babbitt for
great
organization and paper work, and to Faye Strauss who lost her
sunglasses several times as the friendly stranger to exuberant
dogs.
There
were twenty-five dogs evaluated with 16 passing. Those not
passing were, for the most part, quite strong also. (As an aside
here,
I hate to hear someone say that the dog failed. A dog perhaps
does not
pass, but it's just that.... it did not pass. In an evaluation
I don't
consider a minus score as a failure as it is still giving valuable
information about that dog. OK, Off my soapbox...LOL)"
